Undergraduate Scholarship Program
For decades, the Association has offered scholarships to exceptional students in metro Detroit.
​
Since 2009, the Association has granted forty-eight scholarships totaling $61,000.
Currently, the Greater Detroit Association partners with Wayne State University to award scholarships to outstanding undergraduates in Wayne's Irvin D. Reid Honors College.

Kanady Horn​

An Honors College freshman.

Major: Public Health.

Kanady chose to attend Wayne State University because she loves the campus and finds the staff both caring and engaging.

Future plans: Kanady is considering a career in hospital administration.

Arial Greene ​

An Honors College senior.

Major: History and sociology (dual degree).

Future plans: After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2025, Arial plans to obtain her master’s degree in history through Wayne State’s Accelerated Graduate Enrolment Program.
